Electrical-Industrial Control Engineer

Title: Electrical-Industrial Controls Engineer
Location: Farmington, MI

Job Purpose

Develop, test and debug PLC & HMI programs for automated equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer perform a wide range of duties such as:

  • Investigate and resolve issues associated with assembly automation, workstations, robotics, and automated equipment.
  • Test new programs for reliability and safety with automation equipment
  • Able to troubleshoot issues with hardware and processes.
  • Must oversee customer installations are successful and provide guidance and support.
  • Maintain quality and safety procedures.
  • Must be well versed in machine controls and have good mechanical aptitude.
  • Perform and assist with other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications

  • 2-7 years’ experience in related field
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and edit electrical schematics (Autocad a plus)
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Experience in manufacturing, controls engineering, or related field required.
  • Knowledgeable with robotics, machining, assembly lines and conveyor

Electrical/Electrician Technician

Title: Electrical/Electrician Technician
Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Job Purpose
Responsible for wiring, installing, and repairing electrical control systems from a technical blueprint.

Primary Responsibilities:

An electrician performs a wide range of duties such as:

  • Read and comprehend technical blueprints and diagrams
  • Understand controls drawings
  • Efficient in wiring control panels
  • Install, maintain, and or repair electrical components
  • Wire three phase motors
  • Wire and install cable trays
  • Wiring pushbutton enclosures
  • Laying out enclosure back plates
  • Routing and clamping switch cords
  • Process wire terminating
  • Properly drill and tape wires
  • Operate various machine tools and equipment needed
  • Troubleshoot and debug electrical issues using testing devices
  • Follows all safety requirements and regulations
  • Communicates any safety concerns

Mechanical Engineer

Title : Mechanical Design Engineer
Location : Farmington Hills, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Design custom machinery, automotive tooling and custom testing equipment.
  • Design robotic end effectors, pick and place, product transfer and indexing systems.
  • Design weldments, extruded structures, conveyor systems and lift assists.
  • Interact with manufacturing to revise, design, detail drawings and prints for fabrication/assembly.
  • Investigate and resolve issues associated with assembly automation, work stations, robotics, and automated equipment.

Required Skills:

  • Must have Solidworks proficiency
  • Solidworks PDM works nice to have
  • Solidworks advanced modeling

Senior Machine Builder / Tool Maker

Title : Senior Machine Builder / Tool Maker
Location : Farmington Hills, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Fits and assembles components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, and knowledge of machine construction
  • Analyzes assembly blueprint and specifications manual, and plans machine building operations
  • Aligns components for assembly, manually or with hoist, screws, bolts, weld parts together
  • Properly handle and safely use variety of hand power tools including but not limited to saws, grinders, sanders, drills, precision measurement instruments.
  • Verifies conformance of parts to stock list blueprints, using measuring instruments, like calipers, gauges, and micrometers
  • Working knowledge of Bridgeport, Lathe, surface grinder setup and operation.
  • Ability to operate forklift and crane
  • Quality awareness
  • Assembles, set up, operates machine to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customers specifications
  • Tests operation of assembly by hand
  • Provide guidance and feedback to less experienced builders while maintaining a safe and positive work environment
  • Work with Engineering to identify root cause of all issues and document/implement corrective actions
  • Verifies alignment and tolerances of moving parts, using measuring instruments, like dial indicators, thickness gauges and gauge blocks

Job Purpose

Maintains production and quality by ensuring proper operation of machinery and equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

Service Technician performs a wide range of duties such as:

  • Crete excellent experience for the customer while providing world class support
  • Installation, start-up, training, and service of OEM automation equipment and vision systems
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and implement corrective action
  • Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and Robot control programs with support from engineering
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed
  • Follow all customer’s procedures and protocols

Senior R&D Engineer

Title : Senior R&D Engineer
Location : Farmington Hills, MI

Job Purpose

Lead new product development and improvements to existing products. Remain fluent in the latest technologies and identify opportunities to implement in our products.

Primary Responsibilities

The Senior R&D Engineer performs a wide range of duties such as:

  • Research, develop, and test new automation products
  • Work with mechanical and electrical engineering to understand current product limitations and desired improvements.
  • Support transition of new products into production environment
  • Train team on operation and troubleshooting of new products and features
  • Estimate time and costs for R&D projects and provide weekly status reports
  • Perform and assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be well versed in machine controls and have good mechanical and electrical aptitude

Senior Account Manager - ITE

Title: Senior Account Manager

Job Purpose

Account Manager serves as the liaison between the company and their customers, establishing strong relationships

Primary Responsibilities

Account Manager will perform a wide range of duties including but not limited to the following:

  • Build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long-term goals and partnerships
  • Work with sales team members and internal engineering teams to develop marketing plans
  • Ensure customers are receiving services that are within the budget requirements
  • Meet with customers via phone, email, or on site to assist in technical aspects of specific requirements for a project
  • Generate technical sales proposals and contracts
  • Assist with technical presentations and demonstrating how products meet our customer’s needs
  • Assist in development and reporting of sales pipeline
  • Manage and interpret the customer’s requirements – understanding client’s needs and expectations
  • Research options and request quotes from outsourced suppliers that will complete the overall work proposal
  • Identify areas that can be improved to meet customer satisfaction and gain repeat business
  • Generate costing spreadsheets accounting for labor, equipment, and overall costing
  • Maintain records of all communication with customers and vendors
  • Work closely with Operations Manager to develop schedules and deliveries
  • Coordinate and attend trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
  • Assist in marketing strategies to understand or acquire new customers
  • Assist in development of marketing material
